Wish Farms is hiring 55 seasonal Fruit Line Packers to join our team for the upcoming harvest season in Plant City. This is an entry-level position where you’ll work as part of a crew in our climate-controlled packing facility to help sort, pack, and prepare fresh produce for shipment.

Because we’re keeping the fruit fresh, the packing rooms are kept cool—between 40°F and 50°F—so you’ll want to dress warmly!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Sorting & Packing: Inspecting and sorting fruit, loading clamshell containers, and packing them neatly into shipping boxes.
• Line Support: Dumping fresh fruit bins onto processing lines and making sure every box has the correct shipping label attached.
• Staging & Palletizing: Stacking completed boxes onto pallets, labeling them, and securing materials in the warehouse.
• Shop Upkeep: Sweeping, cleaning work stations, and washing containers or tools to keep the facility safe and sanitary.

Schedule & Hours

• Standard Hours: Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 3:30 PM) and Saturdays (8:00 AM – 1:30 PM).
• Weekend Work: Occasional Sunday shifts may be required depending on fruit volume and harvest pushes.

Physical Requirements & Expectations

• Physical Capability: Ability to stand for long periods and handle repetitive physical movements (bending, pulling, reaching, and overhead lifting).
• Lifting: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs when needed.
• Environment: Comfortable working on your feet in a cold environment (40°F–50°F).
• Safety & Drug Policy: Post-hire drug testing is required upon reasonable suspicion or following any workplace accident.
