This isn’t just a typical "job"—it’s a live-in role where you will become a deeply vital part of someone’s daily life. Because of the personal nature of the support required, we are seeking a compassionate female carer who understands that providing personal care is entirely about preserving a person's dignity, bringing peace of mind, and making them feel genuinely comfortable and safe in their own home.

What the role actually looks like

You’ll be staying with our client, helping her navigate her day with comfort and ease. This means assisting with the sensitive basics—like washing, dressing, and moving around safely—but it’s also about the little things that make a house a home.

On any given day, you’ll be cooking meals she truly enjoys, keeping her living space tidy and bright, managing her medications, and accompanying her to local outings or appointments. Above all, you’ll be a warm, friendly face and a comforting presence to talk to.

Who we are looking for

• The Experience: You’ve spent time working in care before. If you already have experience with live-in care or supporting individuals living with dementia, that is a huge bonus.
• The Credentials: You hold your SVQ Level 2 (or an equivalent qualification) and are fully comfortable undergoing a standard PVG check.
• On the Road: You have a full UK driving license, which is essential for helping our client get out and about.
• Your Qualities: You are naturally patient, observant, and comfortable working independently. You also understand the importance of keeping clear, thoughtful daily notes so her family can always stay informed and reassured.
