The Role

We need a DevOps Engineer to join our Data Engineering team. You'll be the person building and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that keeps our massive data pipelines running smoothly. Think CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring – making sure everything is reliable, scalable, and secure.

You'll work closely with our Software Engineering, Product, and Data Science teams, so collaboration is key. This isn't a solo gig – you'll be right in the mix with people across the company.

 What You'll Be Doing

• Setting up and managing our AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools
• Building CI/CD pipelines that support deployments across multiple environments
• Keeping our Kubernetes clusters running efficiently without breaking the bank
• Monitoring everything to ensure high availability and security
• Improving how we track and observe what's happening across our systems
• Handling network architecture between services and environments
• Taking projects from idea to production – real ownership here
• Laying the groundwork for solid DevSecOps practices
• Helping other team members level up their skills

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar work
• Solid AWS experience and understanding of cloud-native systems
• Strong Kubernetes skills – you know containerized workloads inside and out
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code
• Real experience building and running CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• You've implemented logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions before (Grafana, DataDog, CloudWatch, Prometheus)
• Good grasp of DevSecOps principles
• You're self-motivated, love learning, and can think creatively when problems come up
• Team player who takes ownership and gets things done

Nice to Have

• Background in Earth Observation
• Knowledge of MLOps practices for production environments
