Salary: $36.10 hourly / 40 hours per week

Location: Thunder Bay, ON, Canada

We need experienced (or trainable) long-haul truck drivers who aren't afraid of spending time on the road. You'll be hauling freight across Canada and into the United States, sometimes for days at a stretch. This is the kind of work where you need to be self-sufficient, responsible, and comfortable with the lifestyle that comes with long-haul trucking.

What Your Work Week Looks Like

You'll spend most of your time driving tractor-trailers, either on your own or as part of a two-person team. The job isn't just about steering – you'll also load and unload cargo, inspect your rig thoroughly before every trip, handle minor repairs on the roadside if something goes wrong, and maintain your truck to keep it running smoothly.

You'll be responsible for securing and tarping loads, keeping detailed records (logbooks, trip reports, fuel consumption, hours of service), and staying in regular contact with our dispatch team. Safety checks are non-negotiable: tires, brakes, lights, refrigeration units – you'll inspect everything before, during, and after each haul.

Must-Haves

• AZ Class License – this is essential
• Air Brakes Endorsement – required by law
• High school diploma (or equivalent experience in the field)
• Clean, valid driver's license
• Comfortable crossing the U.S. border and handling international paperwork
• Okay with being on the road overnight and for extended trips
• Physically fit enough to lift 100+ lbs regularly

Don't have long-haul experience? If you've got the license and the right mindset, we'll train you.

Who Does Well in This Role

Reliable people who show up and follow through. You need solid judgment when you're alone on the highway at 3 AM. You should be organized enough to manage your schedule, paperwork, and truck maintenance. And honestly, you need to be someone who doesn't mind their own company – or who works well with a co-driver when you're teaming up.

This job takes hard work, and it's not for everyone. But if you're built for it, it's a solid career.
