Salary: $26.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week

Location: Victoria, BC, Canada

We're Success Solutions Home Care Agency and we're hiring Healthcare Assistants here in Victoria. Honestly, we need good people who actually care about helping others - not just looking for any job.

What you'd actually be doing

• Help with personal care (bathing, getting dressed, that kind of thing)
• Check blood pressure and temperature - basic stuff, nothing complicated
• Help people move around safely - some of our clients need help getting out of bed or into a chair
• Keep their living space tidy
• Sometimes go with them to the park or grocery store
• Feed people who can't feed themselves
• Basically, be there when they need someone

What we need from you

• Finished high school
• Can speak English well enough to have real conversations
• First Aid certificate (or willing to get one)
• Strong enough to lift 45kg when needed
• Previous experience is great but honestly, if you have the right attitude, we can teach you the rest

• You can roll with whatever comes up (every day is different)
• You don't need someone watching over your shoulder all the time
• You can keep track of multiple clients and their needs
• You're okay with the fact that this job can be physically and emotionally demanding
