Charles Keay Inc is looking for 6 friendly, dependable taxi drivers to join our team here in Prince Rupert, BC. If you're new to Canada or already here and looking for solid work, this could be perfect for you!
The Job
- $37/hour (seriously, that's great pay for driving!)
- 30-40 hours per week - consistent schedule
- Driving passengers around our beautiful coastal town
- LMIA paperwork is being processed for international candidates
What You'll Be Doing
You know, typical taxi stuff but we actually care about doing it right. You'll be picking up locals and visitors, getting them where they need to go safely, helping with bags when needed, and making sure everyone has a good experience. Sometimes you'll help folks with mobility issues - it's really rewarding work when you think about it.
Between rides, you'll keep the car clean (we provide supplies), handle the basic maintenance stuff, and work with our dispatch team. Nothing too crazy - just being professional and reliable.
What We Need From You
- Finished high school (or have enough life experience to make up for it)
- At least 7 months of driving or customer service work
- Good English - you'll be chatting with passengers all day
- Clean driving record (obviously!)
- Someone who actually likes helping people
