What you’ll be doing
- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic and fluid power systems
- Working on pumps, cylinders, valves, motors, accumulators, hoses, and more
- Performing operational maintenance and overhauls on mechanical and fluid power equipment
- Reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics accurately
- Using testing equipment to troubleshoot faults
- Installing tube and pipework (preferred, but not essential)
- Welding using TIG and MIG techniques
What we’re looking for
- Recognized trade qualification in Fitting or equivalent
- Strong hydraulic and fluid power technical skills — post-trade training or industry experience
- Experience with hydraulic hose assemblies and tube manufacture
- Leadership experience and a proactive approach to safety and ZERO Harm culture
- Current driver’s license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and be fit for work
