Our restaurant’s part of a beautiful 5-star hotel on the Mornington Peninsula — we’ve got the hatted creds, a passionate kitchen crew, and a Head Chef who’s all about mentoring, creativity, and zero drama. If you’re keen to step into a serious role without the burnout, you might be exactly who we need.

What you'll actually be doing

• Running the show when the Exec Chef isn’t around
• Leading your section and keeping service tight and smooth
• Helping the younger chefs grow — we love to promote from within
• Making sure our standards stay high 
• Managing stock and keeping the kitchen clean and organised
• Being part of a team that supports each other — no shouty kitchens here

Who this role is perfect for

• A Sous Chef with solid experience, or a strong CDP ready to step up
• Someone who’s worked in hatted or fine-dining kitchens
• A calm, level-headed leader who gets respect without yelling
• A chef who cares about the little details and doesn’t cut corners
