Job Position: General Farm Labourers Required in ON - Canada For Foreigners with LMIA

Salary: $17.60 hourly / 40 to 60 hours per week

Location: Brantford, ON, Canada

If you aren't afraid of a long day’s work and love being outdoors, we’re looking for 25 people to join our team at JA&PA Farms in Brantford.

This is a real-deal farming job. It’s tough, it’s physical, and the days are long, but you’ll be working with a great group of people.

Quick note for international applicants: We already have our LMIA approved, so we are ready to hire and support foreign workers for this season.

What you’ll actually be doing

You’ll be involved in just about everything that happens on the farm:

• In the fields: Planting, weeding, hoeing, and irrigating the crops.
• The Harvest: Hand-picking the produce and cutting horticultural crops when they’re at their best.
• Quality Control: Sorting and grading the fruits and veggies by size and color so we send the best quality to the market.
• The Gear: You’ll get hands-on experience with tractors, farm trucks, and planting equipment.

The Honest Truth about the work

We want you to know what you’re signing up for. Farming is physically demanding:

• You’ll be working in the heat, the cold, the dust, and the rain.
• You’ll be bending, crouching, and standing for most of the day.
• It can be noisy and, well, it smells like a farm!
• We work fast to hit tight deadlines, so we need people who can keep up and stay focused.

Who are we looking for?

We don’t care about degrees or diplomas. We care about reliability. We need people who show up on time, follow instructions, and work well with the rest of the crew. If you have a good eye for detail (especially for spotting colors and shapes when grading produce), you’ll do great here.
