Job Position: Exciting Grill Chef Opportunity in Australia – Visa Sponsorship Available!

Salary: $80,000 – $85,000 per year

Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia

Steersons is a proper steakhouse right on the water at King Street Wharf. We're known for serving quality cuts in a great setting, and our guests expect nothing less than excellent food every time. We're looking for a talented Grill Chef who knows their way around a grill and is ready to run the section like a pro.

The Role

You'll be working directly with the Head Chef and running the grill section day-to-day. Here's what that looks like:

• Prepping stocks, sauces, and mise en place so service runs smoothly
• Keeping an eye on stock levels and making sure we've got what we need
• Ordering and managing inventory
• Calling the pass during service
• Making sure every plate that leaves the kitchen is spot-on

You'll have a solid senior team behind you who actually care about helping you do well. And if you're keen to step up, there's a clear path to Sous Chef for someone who's ready.

What We're Looking For

• You've worked as a Grill Chef or Sous Chef before, ideally somewhere busy that cares about quality
• You can handle the heat (literally and figuratively) and stay cool during a slammed service
• You're a problem-solver—when something goes sideways, you sort it
• You're a natural leader who can guide and bring out the best in junior chefs
• You communicate well and work as part of the team
• You've got a good attitude and you're not afraid to roll your sleeves up
