Salary: $1,450 to 1,701 bi-weekly (To be negotiated) / 80 to 81 hours bi-weekly.
Location: Sleeman, ON, Canada.

Buena Vista Resort, nestled on the serene shores of Lake of the Woods, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our kitchen team as Camp Cook’s Helpers. This is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about hospitality and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic kitchen environment. No prior experience or formal education is required—we provide comprehensive training to all new team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving meals to guests
• Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Sanitize kitchen surfaces and ensure proper storage of cleaning supplies
• Manage inventory by unpacking and organizing food and kitchen supplies
• Support cooks during meal preparation and service times
• Adhere to health and safety regulations within the kitchen area

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English
• No formal education or prior experience required; training provided
• Smart Serve certification is an asset
• Must have reliable transportation (public transit is not available in the area)

Work Environment

• Fast-paced and physically demanding
• Involves repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods
• Requires handling of loads up to 20 lbs
