Looking for a hands-on seasonal job in agriculture? Farm-Op Kuzzens H2A, LLC is hiring 133 farmworkers to join our team in Immokalee, FL for the 2025 season! This is a fantastic opportunity for hardworking individuals who enjoy outdoor work and being part of a dedicated team.
Job Overview
As a farmworker, you’ll perform various duties as directed by your supervisor. Responsibilities may include:
- Laying Plastic & Fertilizer: Load and handle 50–80 lb rolls of plastic and drip tape, ride machinery to distribute materials, ensure proper bed pressing, clean fertilizer hoppers, and repair plastic as needed.
- Irrigation: Install, remove, and maintain irrigation lines, replace jets, repair leaks, and ensure systems run efficiently.
- Planting & Replanting: Load and unload plant trays, place plants in machine-made holes, fill soil around plants by hand, and replace injured or dead plants.
- Staking: Place stakes between plants and secure them using air hammers or manual hammers, including cleanup of broken stakes.
- Other Tasks: Present your employee badge for identification and payroll, follow supervisor instructions, and help wherever needed in the field.
