If you’re a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic currently in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa—or looking for sponsorship—we have some great opportunities for you.

We are Emmetts, a family-owned John Deere dealer group with 15 branches across Victoria and South Australia. We’re looking for mechanics to join our service teams out in the regions. Whether you want a solid 6-month stint while travelling, or you're looking for a long-term home with visa sponsorship, we’d love to talk.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be based at one of our regional branches, keeping our clients' farming machinery running. You will handle diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on heavy agricultural equipment, ensuring everything is back in the field as quickly as possible.

What we need from you

• You are a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic (with a recognized trade certificate).
• You have solid experience troubleshooting and fixing heavy machinery—agricultural, construction, transport, or field service backgrounds all work well.
• You have a current Working Holiday Visa or are looking for a sponsorship transfer.
• You’re keen to live and work in regional Victoria or South Australia.
