What the Role Looks Like

You’ll be the heart of the motel’s daily operations. If you apply as a couple, one of you will primarily handle the front desk and reservations, while the other helps out with housekeeping and maintenance support.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Guest Connection: Handling check-ins, check-outs, and making sure everyone feels welcome.
• Behind the Scenes: Managing bookings on various platforms and coordinating the cleaning schedule.
• Operations: Keeping an eye on the essentials (like water tanks and gas levels—don’t worry, we’ll train you!) and reporting any maintenance needs.
• General Upkeep: Pitching in with housekeeping or light maintenance to keep our standards high.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Previous hotel or motel experience is a big plus, but a great attitude is even more important.
• Skills: You’ll need a valid driver’s licence and basic computer skills (email and internet are a must).
• Communication: Good English is essential for chatting with guests and handling enquiries.
• The Vibe: We need someone (or a duo) who is reliable, "can-do," and happy to live in a rural area. You should be someone who takes pride in your workspace and genuinely enjoys helping people.
