Signet Farm Services is looking for 28 hardworking Carpenters to join our crews for the upcoming season in Hilbert, Wisconsin.
If you enjoy hands-on construction work, like working outdoors, and want to be part of a team that builds agricultural facilities for the dairy industry, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
Our crews build agricultural structures on dairy farms throughout the region. By the time we arrive on-site, the concrete work is already complete, allowing us to focus on the building itself.
Your day-to-day work may include:
- Building and installing structural wood framing
- Installing metal wall and roof panels
- Fitting insulation, trim, doors, and related components
- Unloading and moving materials around the job site using telehandlers
- Working with hand and power tools such as drills, saws, nail guns, levels, and measuring equipment
- Following project plans and maintaining safe work practices at all times
We do not perform plumbing, electrical, trenching, or concrete work.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Have at least 1 month of agricultural construction or wood framing experience
- Be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs for extended distances
- Enjoy physical, hands-on work
- Work well as part of a team and follow safety procedures
