Hotel Kailani is looking for a creative, experienced Chef to take charge of our kitchen and help us shape a truly special dining experience — right here on Izu Oshima, a beautiful island just off Tokyo.

What You'll Do
- Design and prepare a menu with your own creative touch — any cuisine welcome!
- Cook lunch and dinner with fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Lead a small team in the kitchen and make sure everything runs smoothly
- Manage food supplies, inventory, and minimize waste
- Work closely with the owners to bring your food vision to life
- Help guests fall in love with the island through your food

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of kitchen or chef experience
- Someone who speaks fluent Japanese and can hold a basic English conversation
- A chef who’s ready to relocate and make the island home
