HARVEST WORKERS in NSW Australia (140 Positions)

HARVEST WORKER - MAROOTA, NSW:

We have up to 60 positions available for harvest workers on vegetable farms in MAROOTA, NSW region.

Work is due to start March 2024 and is expected to go for 9 months.

You will be paid as a Level 1, Casual under the Horticultural Award 2020 (MA000028). Hourly or Piece Rates may apply.

There may be an opportunity to undertake training and upskilling in this role, which can allow your remuneration to increase as per the levels in the Horticultural Award 2020 (MA000028).

The position is for a harvest worker on a vegetable farm and will include but not limited to tasks such as picking, packing and planting vegetables and general farm duties.

This position requires the availability for shift work over a 7-day roster. Minimum of 30 hours a week, 7am-4pm though at times this may change due to the seasonal needs of the business.

Please note that random drug & alcohol testing may be conducted.

Selection Criteria: • Attention to detail • Good hand-eye co-ordination • Ability to follow detailed instructions • Ability to work continuously at a high level of concentration • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to bend low to the ground for long periods • Ability to tolerate hot and humid conditions for long periods of time (40+) • Must be physically fit, agile • Applications from outside the area must be able to show a commitment to moving to the location for the duration of employment
