Our farm is a small family-run business looking for someone to hire a good farmer. Coombadjha NSW is Set in 5,000 hectares of lush cow country at the foot of the Gibraltar Mountains, with rolling green hills and steep scrub. Southern Sky Farms is a true Australian paradise, with a spring-fed stream running 8km through the property and the majestic River Mann just around the corner. The farm primarily raises cattle and some small crops but is trying to become a self-sufficient farm with an orchard and additional vegetable gardens.

Southern Sky Farms needs experienced farmers to help plant and water their mixed orchards of apples, citrus, avocados, and mangoes. The work is 50% complete and will need to be pushed further over the summer to complete the job. We also need a farmer's person to continue to assist with common tasks and ongoing maintenance.

Manual work is required. Must be experienced, fit and energetic. Must love the outdoors, be able to work hard in the sun, and be happy to swim in a pristine stream at lunchtime every day!!

Even experienced workers need some mechanical work, tractor work, and excavation work. I earn $25 an hour and work 40-50 hours a week. Accommodation is free and first class. Wage rates reflect free nights.

We are looking for 2 agricultural workers.

The tasks are:

• plant a new orchard
• dig and rake the soil
• Running an irrigation pipeline
• Operating the tractor rotary hoe
• Working excavator for digging pipe trenches
• lift something heavy
• Weeding and weed spraying
• General farm worker work such as soil preparation
• Cleanup and grounds maintenance
